First determine how many breakers in the model carry LIGHTS ONLY. See "How many breakers?". Once you have know how many breakers your lights are on you will choose either the M6KM or MM10KM and purchase an additional motion sensor. Essentially you will have the ModelMinder, door sensor and one or more motion sensors (one for each set of stairs cases).
